A Little About Me

May 02, 2018

Hey y'all! My name is Randi and I am a mother of three beautiful daughters and the wife of the best husband in the world! I started college as an education major, earned my associates, got all the way through the education courses and only had my student teaching left to do before getting my bachelors. I decided to hold off on my student teaching while I had my first baby, and was sure I would pick it back up after she was born. Now, 8 years later, most of those credits have "expired" and I still don't have a bachelors. I recently decided to start school again, but have changed my major to focus on the thing I love most in this world- my family! I have been back in school for 2 years now and am loving the marriage and family courses!
My husband and I met and became good friends in middle school (6th grade). We started dating when we were 16, and have been together ever since. We got married in the LDS Nauvoo Temple when we were 20, and now have three beautiful daughters. There have been a few bumps and bruises along the way, but all-in-all we have a pretty charmed life. We live in a small town in north Texas just north of Dallas. We are true Texans and honestly believe that "God blessed Texas with His own hands". We love our little town and the people who live here.

My favorite thing to do in the world is to date my husband! We go shooting, we see movies, we shop for cars we could never afford, and sometimes we even take cruises to the Caribbean. I love to cruise! We have been on a few different lines- Carnival, MSC, and Celebrity, but our favorite so far is Royal Caribbean. We are currently saving our pennies to take our girls on a Disney Cruise.
Unfortunately, life isn't always fun and easy. I do have real world responsibilities. I am in the Primary Presidency at church (the young children's group) and we have over 150 kiddos. I'm also the owner of a small etsy shop where I sell digital invitations, printables, church related items (YW themes, Youth posters, Come Follow Me aids, etc) and a few other things.  I'm the room mom for my middle daughter's kindergarten class, and I volunteer as needed in my oldest daughter's 3rd grade class.
Life gets pretty busy in our small town, but I truly love it and wouldn't want to live any other way!
